On 27 February in Hotel Podgorica, the Centre for Democratic Transition organized a conference titled “Good Governance in the State Administration of Montenegro“. Since the Public Procurement Administration of Montenegro recognized the importance of this event, the Director of the PPA, Mr Mersad Mujević DSc took a part in the above mentioned Conference. The Conference was organized within the framework of the DURBIN Project (good governance – better institutions), which has been addressing one of the key challenges of democratization in Montenegro – establishment of a good governance system at the national level. The main purpose of the Project is contribution to opennes, responsibility and efficiency of Montenegrin state administration and it was funded by the USAID. The Conference was consisted of 3 panels with the following topics: “The Open Government Concept in Montenegro“, “Good Governance in State Administration“ and “Open Parliament“. The participants at the Conference were also Mr Dragan Koprivica, Executive Director of CDT, Mr Duško Marković, Vice-President of the Government for the political system, internal and foreign policy, H.E. Sue K. Brown, the Ambassador of the UNDP in Montenegro, Mr Mitja Drobnič, Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, and others.
