Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interest in cooperation with Public Procurement Administration, held in Ulcinj the First Educational Seminar in 2013, on 13 February, for state and local public officials from municipalities Ulcinj and Bar. Among the participants were the President and Vice President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, President of the Basic Court in Ulcinj, prosecutors, directors of public enterprises, institutions and services, secretars of the Secretariates and members of municipal assemblies in the mentioned towns.

The opening speech at this Seminar was given by Mr. Nazif Cungu, President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, and then the audience was addressed by Mr. Slobodan Leković, the President of the Commission, who introduced the participants in detail to the method of operation and the results achieved by the Commission during the previous period, as well as to the changes and amendments to the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest. Subsequently, DSc Mersad Mujević, Director of the the Public Procurement Administration, during his address, introduced the participants with the conflict of interest in public procurement.

The Seminar was also attended by the guests-experts from the region, such as inspectors of the High Inspectorate for Registration and Control over Income and Assets of Albanija, Ms Gladiola Kraja and Ms. Aida Karapinjalli (with whom the Commission signed the Memorandum on Cooperation in 2007). They had, during thier exposure, presented to the Seminar participants the comparative experiences and practice of the High Inspectorate for Registration and Control over Income and Assets of Albania.
