We hereby notify the parties subject to application of the Public Procurement Law that the Government of Montenegro adopted the information on the need of launching public procurement procedures during the period of measures adopted by the Government on 9 April 2020 in purpose of reducing the effects of COVID 19 pandemic, whereupon the following conclusions were issued:
- The contracting authorities financed from the state budget, during period of the Government’s measures for reducing the negative effects of the coronavirus epidemic, in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement, may launch a public procurement procedure which is necessary for unhindered functioning of public administration system, information security services and maintenance of system and application software, execution of current maintenance works and realization of capital projects and investments.
- Before launching of a public procurement procedure, the contracting authorities are obliged to obtain an approval by the Ministry of Finance on allocation of financial means for that purpose.
