A meeting held with the expert of the Norwegian State Agency for Public Debate and e-Government (DIFI), Mr. Eriksen Svein and Mr. Mersad Mujević, Director of the Public Procurement Administration

On 12 February 2013, in premises of the Public Procurement Administration a meeting was held between the expert of the Norwegian State Agency for Public Debate and e-Government (DIFI), Mr. Eriksen Svein and Mr. Mersad Mujević, Director of the Public Procurement Administration.

Namely, the Ministry of Defence of Norway launched a project aimed at identification of the risks of corruption or unethical behaviour in institutions within the defence sector in the countries of the Southeast Europe. The Project shall be executed as a series of analyses of the needs specific for each country, and it was conceived as a first step in a program prepared by NATO to build integrity in Southeast Europe – within the NATO BI (Building Integrity) framework.

The meeting was focused mainly on the analysis of the Public Procurement Law implementation, the operation of the Administration, exemptions of this Law’s application and the legal solutions contained therein.

The meeting was attended also by Mr. Rajko Radević, Project Coordinator of the Project titled “Building Integrity in the Defence Sector: the Needs Analysis“, as well as Ms. Jelena Femić on behalf of the Public Procurement Administration.

On this occasion the mutual pleasure was expressed as well as the great appreciation by Mr. Eriksen Svein regarding further cooperation, that is to be realized between the Public Procurement Administration and the Ministry of Defence of Norway.
