Under the TAIEX Study Visit to Portugal, the representatives of the Public Procurement Administration of Montenegro, its Director DSc Mersad Mujević, the Head of the Department for monitoring of public procurement procedures and administration of electronic public procurement, MA Gorana Mrvaljević, and the Senior Adviser, Aleksandar Anđić, had the opportunity to make acquaintance to the electronic public procurement in the health area of this country.

During their stay in Portugal, the representatives of our institution were in Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto where they visited the following institutions:

• SPMS (Shared Services of the Ministry of Health),
• VORTAL (E-procurment Software Company,
• ARS CENTRO (Regional Health Administration),
• INCI (Institute of Contruction and Real Estate),
• DGS (Directorate General of Health) i
• INFARMED (National Authority of Medicine and Health Products).

The experience exchanged with the representatives of the above institutions and the VORTAL – electronic public procurement portal and the BASe system presented as well. Practical examples were given regarding the explanation of the usage of the e-public procurement system as well as the additional video explanation to the following links:

The Director of the PPA of Montenegro expressed his personal pleasure and at the same time the pleasure of his colleagues since they had the opportunity to exchange very important experince in this field.

To the end of further communication and development of the e-public procurement system, the visit of the VORTAL firm representatives to our country was agreed in order to understand more closely the functioning of the public procurement system in our country and to offer specific software solutions in the view of more efficient operation in this area.
