Representatives of the PPA, its Director Mersad Mujevic and the Head of the Department for Professional Development, training and international cooperation in public procurement field took part at the 10th Knowledge Exchange Forum in public procurement field which was held in Hotel Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Cumhuriyet Caddesi Harbiye, Istanbul, Turkey within the period of May 27 – 30, 2014. PPA representatives gave speeches demonstrating therein Montenegro’s efforts that it undertakes towards the EU Integration.

The Topic of the Forum related to the ‘Public Procurement Performance Measurement’. The main objective of the Forum was the opportunity for the participation countries to exchange their experience and practice in the view of the reform of the public procurement system and with special attention to the public procurement performance measurement. Also, this is an opportunity to strengthen regional co-operation with an active finding of the potential international and bilateral donors in order to improve the efforts of the state government for improving the aspects of effectiveness, transparency and efficiency of public spending, in order to meet the criteria in the process of accession of Montenegro to the European Union.
