State Audit Commission for the Control of Public Procurement Procedures of the Republic of Slovenia in visit to the Public Procurement Administration of Montenegro

Today, on 26 July 2013, The State Commission for the Control of Public Procurement Procedures of Montenegro was held the meeting in the premises of the Public Procurement Administration with the Representatives of the State Audit Commission for the Control of the Public Procurement Procedures of the Republic of Slovenia, represented by its President Borut Smrdel and the member Vida Kostanjevec.
On this occasion, the Director of the Public Procurement Administration, Mr Mersad Mujevic introduced the Slovenian colleagues to the current situation of the Public Procurement System of Montenegro, negotiating position of Montenegro, and the Projects on which the Administration is currently working, primarily the Project on Amending the Public Procurement Law adopted in 2011.

Mutual content was also expressed on existence of the Legislative Framework of the Public Procurement System in Montenegro which created all necessary legal presumptions and in the best way ensuring the compliance with the General Principles of the Public Procurement. The agreement was reached, and the possible solutions of the meeting in a view of the joint cooperation of the two Institutions and thereby the economic entities presented as well.
On behalf of the State Commission for the Control of Public Procurement Procedures of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by Suzana Pribilovic, the president, and Tomo Miljic, the member.
