PPA Representatives Took Participation to the Seminary Sponsored by the HERCULE II Programme of the European Anticorruption Office Organized by the Prime Minister of Hungary in Budapest

The PPA representatives participated in the Seminary sponsored by the HERCULE II Programme of the European Anticorruption office and organized by the Prime Minister of Hungary in Budapest.
The HERCULE II Seminary under the conference held on the following title: “Overall training session for the West Balkans and Turkey in the area of public procurement inspection with the aim of further ex-ante capacity building, development of the detection control, elimination of potential irregularities and the cases of fraud.
The Seminary and the Conference held in the period from July 29 to August 01, and the Closing event is organized in the period of August 27-29, 2014. The Programme is implemented by the EC and managed directly by the European Anticorruption office.
First of all, the programme is aimed at implementation of the goals relating the following:

– Establish the functional network of experts with the aim of exchanging information, experience and the best practice;
– Promote the eficient, effective and transparent spending of the EU funds;
– Promote the institutional cooperation on the international level in combating fraud;
– Support countries in transition that are candidates and potential candidates to the EU membership;
– Raise awareness regarding the fraud in public procurement;

At this Seminary the support was given to the participants to implement the financial, social and cohesion funds of Pre-Accession assistance in the most efficient manner possible in order to avoid the fraud in public procurement.
Also, the PPA representatives had presentation on the topic: “The Overview of the Montenegrin Practice in public procurement“
